A wrist watch, first and foremost, is a sturdy and dependable tool for telling time accurately.  At Time Gear Technologies, we strive to make dependable and precision tools that integrate high performance movements with design sensibility and functionality.  Our first collection, PCH Chronometer,  a four-hand central minutes chronograph,  is in the final stage of development

Time Gear Technologies is founded by Tuan G. Tran, an architect and watch enthusiast. Tuan's architectural designs include renovation of historical estates in Chicago, modern eco-friendly houses in Los Angeles and skyscrapers in Asia.  His passion for watches preceded his architectural career.  As teenager, he took up scuba diving due to his aspiration to work for Jacques Cousteau.  That dream fell through but it initiated his appreciation for dependable, precision watches 

When not traveling or living abroad, Tuan considers Los Angeles, California as his adapted hometown.  He's deeply inspired by the natural beauties, active lifestyle and the avant-garde design sensibility of this city.  Based in Rancho Palos Verdes, a sea side suburb of Los Angeles County, Time Gear Technologies watches are designed to celebrate these inspirations

Tuan's passion for watches is wide ranging, from obscured to sought-after legacy time pieces.  While wearing iconic watches brought pleasure, Tuan often pondered what if...?  What if he could installed a higher performance movement?  What if he could modified the design of the case, the bezel or the dial?  In Time Gear Technologies, Tuan aims to make high performance watches he wishes to wear, to have in his collection and to share with other watch enthusiasts
